Yangdol Namgyal

Yangdol is 25 years old, a Tibeto-Sikkimese artist working in various mediums such as watercolor, acrylic and tattoo. The common theme in all her works is the study and reinterpretation of Tibetan art. She aims to preserve the Tibeto-Sikkimese knowledge systems and present it to the world (sometimes, by manifesting it with other Oriental styles of art like Japanese.) She wants to create a symbiotic relationship between traditional and modernity through art and take Tibetan art to the modern age.
